I am a Master of Public Health (MPH) graduate passionate about working at the grassroots level to improve community health and drive lasting change. My journey in public health has taken me across various states in India, where I have engaged with diverse communities to address pressing health challenges and contribute meaningfully to public health programs.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I played an active role in increasing vaccine uptake through strategic community mobilization and awareness campaigns. I also led community-level assessments to understand the pandemic’s impact on the Kala-azar (Visceral Leishmaniasis) elimination program—helping inform adaptive strategies for program continuity. My experience extends to working on malaria interventions, focusing on improving the uptake of diagnostic services and promoting early treatment-seeking behavior, especially in underserved regions.
My approach combines evidence-based public health strategies with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a strong belief in community empowerment. I am particularly driven by the vision of a healthier society where no one is left behind due to geographic, economic, or social barriers.
Beyond my professional work, I find joy in the simple things—gardening, caring for animals, especially dogs, and spending time in nature. These passions fuel my belief that well-being is deeply connected to our environment and community life.
I am always open to new opportunities that align with my goal of uplifting communities through collaborative, people-centered public health initiatives. Whether through research, fieldwork, or policy advocacy, I strive to be part of a greater cause that puts people first.
