Hello! I am Darshana Padmapati, a UG 4 th Semester student of Jagannath Barooah University, Jorhat. Driven by a strong interest in biodiversity conservation and public health research, I recently joined CreIndia as an One Health Intern, where I contribute to survey data collection, analysis, and communityfocused research promoting zoonotic disease prevention and sustainable health initiatives. With a background in Botany and internships at the Orchid Conservation and Propagation Centre, Titabor, and The Assam Kaziranga University, Jorhat, I’ve developed strong interdisciplinary interests connecting environmental, animal, and human health. I have published a few book chapters, participated in field surveys and workshops, and actively engage in community education projects. Passionate about One Health and environmental sustainability, I aim to advance research and outreach that foster a healthier coexistence between people, animals, and nature.
